Terms of service
Last updated 24 September 2026
These terms are between Atlas Vision Innovations Ltd, trading as Tick & Bash ("we"), and the accounting practice that uses the service ("you"). Tick & Bash is for businesses only, not consumers. If your practice has signed a pilot letter with us, that letter and its data processing schedule take priority over these terms where they differ.
1. The service
You upload a sole trader client's bank statements. The AI proposes an SA103 category for each line. A person at your practice reviews and approves each line, and you export year-to-date totals by SA103 box and MTD field to import into your own MTD software.
Tick & Bash does not file anything with HMRC, and it does not give tax or accounting advice. The service is in an early pilot. We will improve it and may change features, and we will tell you before any change that affects how you work.
2. Your responsibilities
- You review the AI's proposals and are responsible for every figure you approve, export and file. Nothing counts in the totals until a person at your practice approves it.
- You have the right to upload your clients' data, and you tell your clients about the tools you use, as your engagement terms and privacy notice require.
- You keep your own copy of your clients' records for as long as HMRC requires.
- You keep your logins private and tell us at once if you think one has been misused.
- You do not try to access other practices' data or disrupt the service.
3. Price and payment
- The Q2 pilot costs £150 for up to 10 clients, paid in advance.
- If, within 14 days of exporting your first 3 clients, you tell us the pilot did not save your team time, we refund the £150 in full.
- After the pilot, the price is £15 per client per quarter, only if you choose to continue. Nothing renews automatically. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
4. Your data
Your clients' data belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service, as your processor under UK GDPR, on the terms of our data processing agreement. Our privacy notice lists the providers we use. We keep your information confidential and do not use it for anything else.
5. Availability
We work to keep the service available and back up the database daily, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We avoid planned maintenance during UK working hours and tell you in advance when we can.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.
Otherwise, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, indirect loss, or penalties and interest arising from figures that your practice approved or filed.
7. Ending the service
You can stop using the service at any time by emailing us. We can end the service with 30 days' notice, or at once if you break these terms in a serious way. If we end it without cause, we refund fees paid for the time that is left.
When the service ends, we send you an export of each client's lines and totals. We then delete your data from the live system within 30 days, and it leaves our backups within a further 14 days.
8. Changes to these terms
We will email you at least 30 days before a change to these terms takes effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service before then.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Questions: hello@tickandbash.com.
